At Cain Creek, we take great pride in raising healthy, well-tempered German Shepherds that reflect the breed’s intelligence, loyalty, and versatility. Our goal is to ensure every puppy is placed in a loving, responsible, and permanent home. To protect both our dogs and their future families, the following policies and procedures apply to all adoptions and sales.

Cain Creek Commitment
At Cain Creek, we believe in responsible breeding and lifelong stewardship of every dog we produce. Our policies are designed to ensure transparency, fairness, and above all — the wellbeing of our German Shepherds.
Puppy Selection & Reservation

Puppies are offered to approved homes only. We reserve the right to refuse any sale if we feel it is not in the best interest of the puppy.

A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a puppy. Deposits will be applied toward the final purchase price.

Selection order is based on the date deposits are received.
Health Guarantee

All puppies are vet-checked, vaccinated, and dewormed prior to going home.

A health record and proof of vaccinations will be provided at pickup.

Cain Creek guarantees the puppy is free from serious congenital health conditions at the time of sale.
Pickup & Ownership Transfer

Puppies are ready to go home at 8 weeks of age unless otherwise specified.

Balance of payment is due before or upon pickup.

New owners must bring valid photo identification to complete the transfer of ownership and paperwork.
No Buy-Back Policy
Rehoming Policy
Care & Responsibility

Cain Creek does not offer buy-backs once a puppy has been placed in its new home.

We encourage all buyers to make an informed and committed decision before purchase.

We understand that unexpected life changes can occur. In such cases, Cain Creek must be notified immediately if an owner is unable to keep their dog.

While we cannot guarantee buy-backs, we will assist in finding an appropriate new home or accept the dog back on a circumstantial basis at our discretion.

Under no circumstances should a Cain Creek German Shepherd be surrendered to a shelter or rescue.

Owners agree to provide proper nutrition, exercise, veterinary care, and training to ensure a happy and healthy life for their dog.

Cain Creek reserves the right to refuse future sales to any individual who fails to meet these care standards.
Breeding Rights & Registration

All puppies are sold as pet companions unless breeding rights have been explicitly agreed upon in writing.

Limited or full registration paperwork will be provided as applicable.
Communication & Support

We value ongoing relationships with our puppy families and encourage owners to stay in touch.

Our team is always available to offer guidance on training, nutrition, and general care.
